David Muradyan (Armenia)
Born in 1951 in Yerevan. He graduated from the Department of Philology of the Yerevan State University, He teaches history of cinema and screenwriting at the University of Theatre and Cinema in Yerevan. Since 1969, he has published 7 books and many articles, and has created short and documentary films. For many years, he was the host of television shows on cinematographic art. In 2003, he received the Levon Shant Award for his play Our Old Piano. At present, he is the Vice-President of the Writers’ Union of Armenia.

Born in 1944 in Germany. She studied French in Paris and English in London, as well as Political Sciences (Dipl.sc.pol) and Educational Theory (M.A.) at the University of Munich, Germany. She is a scientific member of staff at Munich University and Institute Jugend Film Fernsehen, Munich. She has published scientific articles and publications, and also is an editor and director of documentaries and features for TV and educational institutions. She has been a member of national and international Juries, and member of the Jury for the Deutscher Filmpreis. She is teaching film criticism at the German Journalist School in Munich, and is a freelance journalist (for Blickpunkt: Film, Film-Dienst, Abendzeitung München and etc.).

Gunnar Bergdahl (Sweden)
Born in 1951. A cinematographer and a journalist by trade; he is the founder of the cinema magazine Filmkonst in 1989. Since 1994, he has been the director of the Gothenburg IFF. He re-channeled his passion for film from looking at the screen to looking through the camera.
